Abstract:
A feeder (102) according to one embodiment comprises: a weighing feeder (10) having a hopper (11) to which a feedstock is supplied, and a discharge port (13) from which the feedstock is discharged; and a volume feeder (30) having a hopper (31) to which the feedstock discharged from the discharge port (13) is supplied, and a discharge port (33) from which said feedstock is discharged. The volume feeder (30) repeatedly carries out discharging of the feedstock from discharge port (33) and stopping of the discharging. The weighing feeder (10) continuously discharges the feedstock from the discharge port (13) to the hopper (31) during a prescribed continuous period of time including the discharging of the feedstock from discharge port (33) and the stopping of the discharging.
