This information provision method is executed by an information processing device (200) for providing handling information to a passenger of a vehicle (400) or a person outside the vehicle (400), by acquiring attack information by communicating with a security monitoring device (100) that determines the presence/absence of an attack on the basis of log information acquired from the vehicle (400). Attack information, in which a threat level indicating the degree of threat of an attack and vehicle information for identifying the vehicle (400) are associated with each other, is received (S14). An instruction, which causes a presentation unit (430) provided to the vehicle (400) to present handling information determined in accordance with the threat level, is transmitted to the vehicle (400) identified by the vehicle information (S18). The handling information presented by the presentation unit (430) is information for urging the passenger of the vehicle (400) or the person outside the vehicle (400) to avoid a negative effect that will occur due to the attack.
