Abstract:
A femoral stem system (10) which is for an artificial hip prosthesis and comprises a femoral stem (1) to be inserted into the medullary cavity (101) of a femur (100) and a stem removal tool (2) for removing the femoral stem (1) from the medullary cavity (101) of the femur (100), wherein: the femoral stem (1) comprises an insertion part (11) to be inserted into the medullary cavity (101) of the femur (100), a trunnion part (12) to which the stem head is attached, and a neck part (13) connecting the insertion part (11) and trunnion part (12); in the neck part (13), a pair of flat parts (131) are formed on the front and rear surfaces; and the stem removal tool (2) comprises a clamping part (23) that clamps the flat parts (131) from the front and rear.
