Abstract:
[Problem] To provide: a fibrous cellulose having a high reinforcing effect of resin, and a production method thereof; and a fibrous cellulose composite resin having high strength, and a production method thereof. [Solution] This fibrous cellulose has an average fiber width of 0.1 μm or more, an average fiber length of 0.02-3.0 mm, and a fibrillation rate of 1.0% or more. A kneaded mixture of this fibrous cellulose and resin is used as a fibrous cellulose composite resin. The fibrous cellulose is prepared to have an average fiber width of 0.1 μm or more, an average fiber length of 0.02-3.0 mm, and a fibrillation rate of 1.0% or more by loosening a raw material fiber. The fibrous cellulose obtained by this method and resin are kneaded to produce the fibrous cellulose composite resin.
