Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem that, when the inclination of a pole boundary line 11 is increased from one end 15 of a magnet 10 of a field element 1 to an other end 16 thereof, the end part on the other end 16 side at which the inclination of the pole boundary line 11 of the magnet 10 is greater is prone to the effects of flux leakage of a magnetization yoke during magnetization, and thus it is difficult to magnetize the magnet 10 of the field element 1 with high precision. Provided is a field element 1 characterized by comprising: a magnet 10 in which the inclination of a pole boundary line 11 increases from one end 15 with increasing proximity to an other end 16 in the magnet width direction; a magnet support structure 20 which is joined to a magnet fixation part 17 on the opposite side from the pole surface 14 of the magnet 10 in the magnet thickness direction and which supports the magnet 10; and a magnetic member 21 which is constituted by a magnetic material and which is disposed outward to the other end 16 side of the magnet 10 in the magnet width direction and on the magnet 10 side of the magnet support structure 20 in the magnet thickness direction, wherein an end part of the magnetic member 21 on the side opposite from the magnet support structure 20 side in the magnet thickness direction is positioned between the magnet fixation part 17 and the pole surface 14 in the magnet thickness direction.
