Abstract:
A rotating electric machine (30) provided with: stator windings (31U to 31W); a field winding (70) including a serial connection of a plurality of windings (71a to 71c); and a rotor (60) including main pole portions (62) protruding radially from a rotor core (61). Each of the plurality of windings is wound around the main pole portions, and a harmonics current for inducing a field current through the field winding flows through the stator windings. The rotating electric machine is provided with: a rectification element (90) which is connected in series with the field winding so as to form a closed circuit with the field winding, and which rectifies the field current flowing through the field winding into one direction; a capacitor (91) which has one end connected to a connection point of adjacent windings, and a second end connected to one of the ends of the rectification element; and a partition (80) comprising a magnetic material interposed between at least one set of adjacent windings of the plurality of windings.
