Abstract:
The present invention enables an operation for connecting the ends of fiber bundles wound around a plurality of bobbins to be performed even while a winding operation of a fiber bundle is being carried out. This filament winding device (1) is provided with: a helical winding unit (40) which winds a fiber bundle (F) around a liner (L); a bobbin supporting shaft which rotatably supports a bobbin (B1) for providing the fiber bundle (F) to the helical winding unit (40) and a bobbin (B2) different from the bobbin (B1) in a state in which winding-initiation ends of the fiber bundle (F) wound around the bobbin (B1) and winding-termination ends of the fiber bundle (F) wound around the bobbin (B2) are connected to each other; and a fiber bundle storage unit (50). The fiber bundle storage unit (50) has a stopper (54) which can switch the state of the fiber bundle storage unit (50) between a storage state in which the fiber bundle (F) is stored in the fiber bundle storage unit (50) and a storage-released state in which the fiber bundle (F) has been released from storage in the fiber bundle storage unit (50) and the fiber bundle F is supplied from the fiber bundle storage unit (50) to the helical winding unit (40).
