Disclosed in the embodiments of the present application are a file transmission method and apparatus, and an electronic device and a storage medium. The method comprises: setting a server for a first device and a second device, the server receiving and saving a file directory, which is sent by the second device, and returning access address information; receiving an access request, which is initiated by the first device according to the access address information, and returning the file directory; receiving a file download request, which is sent by the first device according to the file directory, acquiring a requested file from the second device, and providing the requested file to a first file; and acquiring file data, which is provided by the first device, and saving the corresponding file in the second device. By means of storage and forwarding of data by a server between a first device and a second device, and on the basis of a cooperative application, a user can operate the first device to independently upload a file to the second device and download a file from the second device in a conference scenario where a conference device is used, such that the operation process of file data transmission in the conference scenario is simplified, and the efficiency of data transmission between the first device and the second device is improved.
