Abstract:
According to the present invention, in cases where a battery pack is configured by stacking film packed batteries, the volumetric efficiency is improved and high energy density is achieved, while affixing the film packed batteries in an optimum state. A film packed battery (101a) according to the present invention is obtained by having an electric power generation element (104) contained in an outer package case that has a film package material (108). The outer package case has a first sealing part (105) from which a terminal is led out and a second sealing part (106) from which a terminal is not led out. The second sealing part (106) is formed in at least one surface that has the largest area among the outer surfaces of the electric power generation element (104). A third sealing part (107), which is a part of the second sealing part (106) and overlaps with the electric power generation element (104), has a sealing area that is 40% or more of the area of the above-described at least one surface.
