Abstract:

This filter pack comprises pleated filter material and a space retaining member that retains the space between adjacent mountain folds or valley folds in the filter material. The filter material has two extending portions that extend on both sides of a fold in the filter material and that face each other when the filter material is in a folded state. A plurality of the space retaining members encompass a pair of space retaining members that are provided in each of the extending portions so as to extend linearly in a direction orthogonal to each fold. The space retaining members constituting said pair abut each other when the filter material is in the folded state. The abutting surfaces of the space retaining members constituting the pair have flat surfaces that extend in a direction orthogonal to the direction in which these space retaining members face each other as seen from the direction in which the space retaining members extend.
