Abstract:
In this finned tube inspection device and method, provided are: a transmitter (21) that is provided on a longitudinal-direction end of a finned tube (31) and transmits ultrasound; a receiver (22) that is provided on a longitudinal-direction end of the finned tube (31) and receives reflected ultrasound; and a processing unit (12) that detects thinning of the finned tube (31) by comparing the reflected ultrasound received by the receiver (22) and preset reference reflected ultrasound.
