Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a gas sensor in which the wear of a metal member that comes into contact with a ceramic-containing member can be reduced. [Solution] A gas sensor 1 equipped with a first member 90 that comprises a ceramic material and a metal member 70 that comes into contact with the first member and comprises a plate-like material, the gas sensor 1 being characterized in that the hardness h1 of a contacting part 74s that is a part in the metal member and comes into contact with the first member is higher than the hardness h2 of a reference part at which the thickness of the metal member is maximum.
