Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a novel fire-resistant article having excellent fire resistance. Provided is a fire-resistant article comprising a foam member obtained by foaming a thermoplastic resin composition containing a thermoplastic resin that generates residue when heated to 600°C at a temperature increase rate of 10°C/min under a nitrogen atmosphere, the foam member including, at least on a portion of the surface thereof, a cured resin member that is obtained by curing a thermosetting resin composition containing a thermosetting resin and that forms an oxygen-blocking carbonized layer during combustion.
