Abstract:
The invention relates to a fitting (1), comprising a first fitting part (3) and a second fitting part (4) that can be rotated about a rotation axis (5) relative to the first fitting part (3), wherein both fitting parts (3, 4) are held rotatably to one another in the axial direction by means of a retaining ring (6). For this purpose, the invention provides that the retaining ring (6) overlaps the second fitting part (4) in the axial direction, and is firmly connected to the second fitting part (4) at that location, and pretensions the first fitting part (3) against the second fitting part (4) by means of a stop (27) that is tilted inward against the radial direction (35). Such a fitting (1) can be produced in a particularly cost-effective manner. The invention further relates to a corresponding production method.
