Abstract:
A fixed-type constant velocity universal joint has connection members (80) press-fitted through splines to stem sections (12, 22) of an outer joint member (10) and/or an inner joint member (20). A come-out prevention member (81) is press-fitted into engagement holes (12b(22e), 88) with an engagement holes (12b(22e)) provided in a stem section (12(22)) and an engagement hole (88) phase-matched. Torque transmission between the stem section (12(22)) and the connection member (80) is made by the spline fit structure, and the stem section (12(22)) and the connection member (80) are locked in the axial direction by the come-out prevention member (81).
