Abstract:
Provided are a fixing device and an image forming device which can suppress a toner from floating from a sheet when a fixing liquid is sprayed onto the sheet and can stably fix a toner image on the sheet. This fixing device 9 comprises a nozzle unit 90 and a precharge electrode 91. The nozzle unit 90 has a fixing liquid container 900, a nozzle electrode 901, and a nozzle 902. The fixing liquid container 900 stores the fixing liquid. The nozzle electrode 901 applies the voltage of a first polarity to the fixing liquid in the fixing liquid container 900. The nozzle 902 sprays, onto a sheet S on which a toner image is formed, the fixing liquid to which the voltage is applied by the nozzle electrode 901. The precharge electrode 91 is located upstream of the nozzle 902 in the transport direction of the sheet S. The precharge electrode 91 applies a voltage having a second polarity, which is opposite to the first polarity, to the sheet S on which the toner image is formed.
