Abstract:
Disclosed is a flame-retardant resin composition characterized by containing a magnesium hydroxide together with a resin component which includes at least one resin selected from the group consisting of acid-modified polyolefins, acid-modified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymers, acid-modified ethylene-(meth)acrylate copolymers, acid-modified styrene copolymers, ethylene-(meth)acrylic acid copolymers and ethylene-(meth)acrylate-(meth)acrylic acid copolymers; a polypropylene; an ethylene-&agr -olefin copolymer; an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer and/or an ethylene-(meth)acrylate copolymer; a styrene elastomer; and a softening agent for rubbers.
