Abstract:

An ink supply system is connected with an ink tank by a hollow communicating tube arranged in the ink tank. In the ink supply system, to prevent the ink from leaking from the communicating tube and at the same time to prevent breakage and the like due to protrusion of the communicating tube from the ink tank, the movable communicating tube (60) is arranged in the ink tank (10), the communicating tube is protruded from inside the ink tank by a pressing member of a recording head and is inserted into the recording head, and the inside of the ink tank is communicated with the inside of the recording head by liquid.
