Abstract:
Provided is a flame-retardant thermoplastic polyester elastomer resin composition which is excellent especially in terms of extrusion moldability and from which hollow continuous molded articles can be produced in even thicknesses with high accuracy. This resin composition comprises: 50-94 mass% thermoplastic polyester elastomer that comprises a hard segment comprising a polyester formed from an aromatic dicarboxylic acid and an aliphatic or alicyclic diol and, bonded to the hard segment, a soft segment consisting mainly of an aliphatic polycarbonate and that has terminal groups, at least some of which have been blocked with polycarbodiimide; and 1-45 mass% flame retardant. The resin composition has a melt flow rate (MFR) of 2-15 g/10 min, and the difference between the MFR measured at 35 minutes after introduction of the resin composition and the MFR measured at 5 minutes after the introduction is 0-20 g/10 min.
