Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a production method for a polarizing plate protection film that contains a cycloolefin polymer having improved adhesion to a polyvinyl alcohol film. This production method for a polarizing plate protection film is characterized by comprising at least: a rolled source film production step including a step for forming a web through flow-casting of a dope on a support at a transport speed V1, a step for performing the first stage of stretching on the web having a web width immediately after the flow-casting, and a step for rolling up a film formed by drying the web; and a processing step including a step for transporting the rolled-up film at a transport speed V2 satisfying V1
