Abstract:
A substrate polyimide (PI) layer structure for a flexible display panel, a flexible display panel and a preparation method therefor; the flexible display panel comprises: a large board (1) mainly consisting of carrier glass (11) and a substrate PI layer (12) attached to the carrier glass (11), as well as an effective display area assembly that is attached to the substrate PI layer (12); a glue layer (3) is disposed on the outer periphery of the effective display area assembly and the substrate PI layer (12) along an area at which the outer periphery of the effective display area assembly is connected to the substrate PI layer (12), being used for reinforcing the edge of the substrate PI layer (12) after the large board (1) is cut into a display panel. The strength of the edge of the substrate PI layer (12) after the flexible display panel is cut may be improved, and the probability of a micro-crack extending inward toward the substrate PI layer (12) may be controlled, thereby improving yield rate.
