Abstract:
A flip-flop complementary low-noise voltage-controlled oscillator capable of reducing up-conversion of flicker noise. In the application of radar technology, the voltage/frequency gain of a voltage-controlled oscillator is too large, such that phase noise is affected by low-frequency noise. A flip-flop complementary structure and a tail inductor are provided, such that the voltage-controlled oscillator obtains larger transconductance, thereby suppressing noise, and realizing the function of reducing up-conversion of flicker noise. Compared with the traditional technique of using a single mutual-coupling pair, the flip-flop complementary structure reuses a current, such that the performance is improved and the overall power consumption is reduced, and the structure is simple. Compared with a traditional complementary structure, the flip-flop complementary structure reduces the up-conversion of the flicker noise of the voltage-controlled oscillator, thereby ameliorating the phase noise. On this basis, a circuit for generating an IQ orthogonal differential signal, and a flip-flop complementary low-noise voltage-controlled oscillator in the form of substrate injection and a corresponding circuit for generating an IQ orthogonal differential signal can further be provided.
