Description:
FLOOR HINGE ASSEMBLY BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Field of the Invention: The present invention is for a floor hinge that can control the opening and closing of a door with supporting it. In detail, it can prevent the casing of cover, which protects the floor hinge assembly, to be transformed by outside loads. And it has a component that its height can be controlled in the adverse direction of the hinge's body.

Description of the Prior Art: Generally, a floor hinge assembly is inserted and used to support the door made of heavy glass or metal and to control the opening and closing of the door.

However, the above floor hinge assembly is inserted in the bottom and consists of the casing which has it within, the floor hinge which supports the door substantially and the cover that veils the upper side of the casing.

The above floor hinge is fixed in the casing so as not to be exposed at the

cements or the other materials when it is inserted in the bottom. And the plane cover is hung over the casing to protect it from the outside loads and impact and to keep its neat appearance.

Let's look over the conventional floor hinge assembly with fig. 6 and fig. 7.

Generally, the floor hinge's body (1) is formed in the direction of its length. On its vertical hem, a hinge axis (2) is devised to support door and to control rotation.

To fix the above body (l) in the casing without movement, controlling screws (4) are connected in both longitudinal side of the body and several controlling screws (5) are devised in both latitudinal side of it. And height controlling screws (3), that penetrate the body from the upper to the lower, are devised on the front and the backward side.

The above longitudinal controlling screws (4) and latitudinal controlling screws (5) are touched with the inside of casing (6), so that the body (1) can not move in spite of the rotational force that occurs at the time of opening and closing, and can keep its right position. And, at the time of installment, the center of hinge axis is fixed by using the height controlling screws (4,5), which are touched with the inside of casing.

On the other hand, the floor hinge assembly is controlled upward and downward by controlling the exposed height of hinge axis' (2) bottom. This is possible by using the height controlling screws (3) that penetrate the body (l).

According to the above conventional techniques, the casing (6) should be larger than the floor hinge assembly, because it should be able to have the floor hinge assembly within it and to control the position of it. The cover (7) veils on the above casing (6) is made by thin pressed iron plate. The cover's size should be the same of casing (6). Therefore, its width and area is large. However, its supporting is <BR> dependent on the circumference of casing (6) and the cover (7) 's center does not have supporting points. So, its transformation is easy to take place by repeated loads or impacts. And then, the gap in which the other materials can be inserted would made by the transformation of cover. Additionally, its appearance is not good and causes uncomfortable walking.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention is a floor hinge assembly which is contrived to control a door's opening and closing with supporting door. In detail, this floor hinge assembly is designed to prevent the cover of casing which protects this floor hinge assembly from being transformed by repeated loads from outside.

To protect the cover of casing not to be transformed by repeated loads from outside, to accept the gap on cover of casing, and to support the body that changes according to the height of floor hinge, and to control the elevation, this invention is designed to make a flange (14) in the direction of body (l)'s length at both upper

sides of the floor hinge's center; to drill tapped holes (8) and to connect the collar- attached screws (12) on it; to make the cover supporting bar (10) that is formed to step pulley several collar supporting holes (11), so that the upper surface of supporting bar, that is supported by collars (13), can be touched with the lower surface of cover. Therefore, it has the characteristics that can prevent the cover from being transformed by outside loads and control the height of floor hinge's body (1) by using the collar-attached screws (12) and controlling screws.

In detail, it can prevent the casing of cover, which protects the floor hinge assembly, to be transformed by outside loads. And it has a component that its height can be controlled in the adverse direction of the hinge's body.

Generally, a floor hinge assembly is inserted and used to support the door made of heavy glass or metal and to control the opening and closing of the door.

To fix the above body (1) in the casing without movement, controlling screws (4) are connected in both longitudinal side of the body and several controlling screws (5) are devised in both latitudinal side of it. And height controlling screws (3), that penetrate the body from the upper to the lower, are devised on the front and the backward side.

The above longitudinal controlling screws (4) and latitudinal controlling screws (5) are touched with the inside of casing (6), so that the body (l) can not move in spite of the rotational force that occurs at the time of opening and closing, and can keep its right position. And, at the time of installment, the center of hinge axis is fixed by using the height controlling screws (4,5), which are touched with the inside of casing.

On the other hand, the floor hinge assembly is controlled upward and downward by controlling the exposed height of hinge axis' (2) bottom. This is possible by using the height controlling screws (3) that penetrate the body (1).

However, its supporting is dependent on the circumference of casing (6) and the cover (7) 's center does not have supporting points. So, its transformation is easy to take place by repeated loads or impacts. And then, the gap in which the other materials can be inserted would made by the transformation of cover. Additionally, its appearance is not good and causes uncomfortable walking.

The technical tasks that the present invention seeks: The present invention is contrived to solve the above problems of the conventional techniques and has the following objectives. The present invention is to provide a floor hinge assembly that is made to protect the cover of casing from being transformed by outside loads and impacts. The present invention is to provide a floor hinge assembly that has supporting components which can support cover with being controlled in the adverse direction of the height controlled floor hinge assembly.

To accomplish the above objectives, the present invention have the flange that is set up in the direction of body's length at both side of the floor hinge

assembly's latitudinal center; made several tapped holes and connected with the collar attached screws; made supporting bar that supports cover; the supporting bar has several collar supporting holes in the direction of its length; the supporting bar on the above collar can support the under surface of cover.

Besides, the above supporting bar is controlled adversely by height controlled body of the floor hinge assembly, so that is touched always the under surface of cover and supports it.

The structure and function of the present invention: As follows, Let's look over the concrete techniques of the present invention with the attached drawings. This floor hinge assembly has the flange that several tapped holes are made on its upper both sides in the direction of the body's length so that the collar attached screws can be connected; cover supporting bar that is formed to step pulley several collar supporting holes, so that the upper surface of supporting bar, that is supported by collars, can be touched with the lower surface of cover.

The above collar attached screws combine with the function of the body's height controlling screws and are controlled by a wrench.

Let's look over the detail action of the present invention. The cover is connected with the upper side of casing by screws. Cover is made of wide plate. To

control the height of floor hinge assembly, the space between cover and body is empty.

The supporting bars are devised on both sides of body's center and support the lower center of cover.

The collar attached screws are connected with flange. Their lower side is supported by the bottom of casing so that combines with the function of supporting hinge's body.

As for the control of hinge body's height, when the body is fixed at the moved up or down position as like fig. 4 and 5, the space between flange of body and supporting bar becomes the state that dl is less than d2. Therefore, it can support cover continuously at the time of elevation of the body.

The upper collars of the above collar attached screws are connected with the collar supporting sides of the collar supporting holes. So, the above collar attached screws can support with supporting bar and the screws are controlled by a wrench through the collar supporting holes.

Therefore, although the height of hinge's body changes, the supporting bar always supports the center of cover. And the circumference of cover are always supported and fixed with casing and can support against the loads that is added on the wide cover.

INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY As mentioned above, the present invention makes a supporting bar at the lower center of cover so as to modify the defects that the cover of casing is transformed by repeated loads and makes it possible to control the height of floor hinge assembly so that can prevent the cover's transformation and the other materials'inflow.
