Abstract:
A flow passage switching valve unit for an endoscope comprises a seal member which, in a first input mode, blocks the connection between a first upstream flow passage and a first space section and which, in a second input mode in which a shaft section has been rotated about a movement axis by a predetermined rotational angle from the first input mode, connects the first upstream flow passage and the first space section. The flow passage switching valve unit for an endoscope also comprises a first flow passage opening and closing section which is provided between the first space section and a second space section and which, when the opening of a connection passage is closed in the second input mode, supplies a first fluid to the second space section, the first fluid having been supplied to the first space section through the first upstream flow passage.
