Abstract:
Disclosed is a fluorine-containing composition containing a fluorine-containing polymer having a repeating unit derived from a fluorine-containing monomer represented by CH2=C(-X)-C(=O)-Y-Z-A-(CF2-CH2)a-Rf (formula (a)). (In the formula, X represents a hydrogen atom, a univalent organic group, or a halogen group; Y represents -O- or -NH-; Z represents a direct bond or bivalent organic group; Rf represents a C1-20 fluoroalkyl group; A represents an alkylene group having a linear chain (the number of carbon atoms is an odd number equal to or greater than 3) or a branched chain (the number of carbon atoms is an integer equal to or greater than 3); and a represents an integer between 1 and 50.) The fluorine-containing composition exhibits the properties required of a surface treatment agent, examples of such properties include water- and oil-repellent, anti-fouling, and anti-corrosion properties, releasability, adhesiveness to a base, excellent texture, water resistance, oil resistance, and durability of said properties.
