Abstract:
Provided is a flush toilet that can keep flush water force from dropping and achieve effective waste discharge performance. A flush toilet (1) that comprises: a toilet bowl (10) that has a bowl surface part (12) and a recess (14) that is formed below the bowl surface part (12) and is continuous with a drain pipe (30); and water-spouting ports (21, 22) that spout flush water into the toilet bowl (10). The flush water flows into the recess (14) as at least two water flows that include a first water flow (F3) that flows into the recess (14) from a front part of the toilet bowl (10) and a second water flow (F4) that flows into the recess (14) from a rear part of the toilet bowl (10) and, by rising at the front of the recess (14), swirls upward inside the recess (14). A step part (12A) at which there is a vertical level difference is formed at a region of the bowl surface part (12) down which the first water flow (F3) flows.
