Abstract:
Provided is a flush toilet that can prevent flush water from splashing to the outside of a toilet bowl. A flush toilet (1) that comprises: a toilet bowl (10) that has an upright surface part (11) that is formed to extend in the vertical direction to an upper end part, and a bowl surface part (12) that is formed below a lower end of the upright surface part (11) on the inner circumferential side; and water-spouting ports (21, 22) that open in the upright surface part (11) and spout flush water into the toilet bowl (10). The flush water flows as at least two water flows that comprise a main flow (F1) that flows along the upright surface part (11) around a circumferential edge of the toilet bowl (10) and a sub-flow (F2) that branches from the main flow (F1) and flows down the bowl surface part (12). The sub-flow (F2) merges with the main flow (F1) at a downstream-side merge part (J). The main flow (F1) reaches the merge part (J) more quickly than the sub-flow (F2).
