Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a flush toilet in which cleaning water easily flows down the radial inner side of the bowl in a portion directly downstream of a water discharge port. The bowl surface (20) of a flush toilet 1 has a shelf part and an upper wall surface (23). The shelf part is formed in an annular shape in plan view, and the upper wall surface (23) rises up from the end on the bowl radial outer side of the top surface (40) of the shelf part. A covering wall part (42) rises up in a part of the top surface (40) in the bowl circumferential direction, and the space that is sandwiched between the upper wall surface (23) and the covering wall part (42) above the top surface (40) acts as a water supply space (5). The top surface (40) corresponding to the water supply space (5) acts as a water supply surface (50), and the portion of the top surface (40) on the downstream side of the water supply surface (50) acts as a shelf surface (43). The upper wall surface (23) of the water supply space (5) has a projecting part (7) that projects toward the radial inner side of the bowl, the top surface of the projecting part (7) acting as the water supply surface (50). The horizontal length (511) of a cross-section intersecting with the bowl circumferential direction of a lower water supply space (51), which is the lower region of the range in which the projecting part (7) is positioned within the vertical range of the water supply space (5), is formed to be less than the horizontal length (521) of a cross-section that intersects with the bowl circumferential direction of an upper water supply space (52), which is a region of the water supply space (5) on the upper side of the lower water supply space (51).
