This flying object has: a recognition unit that recognizes a current position of a moving subject to be tracked; a storage unit that stores control information corresponding to each of a plurality of planned positions of the moving subject; a calculation unit that calculates control target information corresponding to the current position of the moving subject recognized by the recognition unit on the basis of control information; and a control unit that performs control according to the control target information.
