Abstract:
[Problem] The present invention provides a flying object with which any decrease in flight efficiency while the flying object is cruising can be minimized while safety is improved. [Solution] This flying object is provided with a safety device that reduces falling speed, wherein the safety device is mounted at an angle at which drag is reduced during forward travel to a greater extent than during landing or hovering. The frontal projected area of the safety device is lower during forward travel than in a landing state or a hovering state. In a landing state or a hovering state, the center line of the safety device is tilted rearward of the flying object. The tilt angle of the center line of the safety device is the same or similar in magnitude to the forward tilt angle of the flying object during cruising. The safety device encompasses a parachute.
