Abstract:
A transmission device (100) includes: an outer code interleaver (1) that generates multiple bit sequences while performing bitwise interleaving on a signal formed by multiple multilevel modulation symbols; an outer encoder (2) that performs, in parallel, outer encoding processes on the multiple bit sequences generated by the interleaving; an outer code deinterleaver (3) that performs deinterleaving, which is the reverse operation of the interleaving performed by the outer code interleaver, on the bit sequences on which the outer encoding processes have been performed; an inner encoder (4) that performs, in parallel, inner encoding processes on the bit sequences on which the deinterleaving has been performed by the outer code deinterleaver; and an inner code interleaver (5) that performs time interleaving and symbol interleaving on the bit sequences on which the inner encoding processes have been performed.
