Disclosed is a folding support used on a backpack sunshade apparatus, the folding support comprising a rotating mechanism (1), and a support (2) connected on the rotating mechanism (1), wherein the support (2) comprises a first support rod (21) and a second support rod (22), one end of the first support rod (21) is fixedly connected on the rotating mechanism (1) and the other end is hinged to one end of the second support rod (22), the other end of the second support rod (22) is connected to an external flexible shade (3), a pull cord (4) is connected on the second support rod (22), and the pull cord (4) passes through the first support rod (21) to connect to a winch (5) located on the rotating mechanism (1).Since the entire opening and folding mechanism is driven by the pull cord (4), and the winch (5) is mounted in the rotating mechanism, the structure is simple, compact and involves few components, such that not only are production costs low, but the action is also smooth and the chance of faults is low.
