Abstract:
[Problem] The present invention addresses the problem of providing footwear that reduces deceleration in a traveling direction at landing on the ground and that facilitates acceleration at treading on the ground. [Solution] The footwear according to the present invention is characterized by having a sole which, in a longitudinal cross-sectional view thereof, has an upper surface on a side that comes into contact with the bottom of a foot and a bottom surface on a side that comes into contact with the ground. The sole is also characterized in that: an angle β of 10-75° is formed between a plane that the bottom surface of the sole is in contact with and a straight line L1 that connects a contact point A at which the bottom surface of the sole is in contact with the plane and which is located farthest toward the toe side and a point B which is located farthest on the toe side of the sole; and an angle α of 5-65° is formed between the plane that the bottom surface of the sole is in contact with and a straight line L3 that connects the point B and an intersection point C between the upper surface of the sole and a perpendicular line L2 which is perpendicular to the plane in contact with the bottom surface of the sole and which passes through the contact point A.
