Title:
FORGING PRESS DEVICE FOR VALVE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2013/145308
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a forging press device for valves, capable of reducing the number of work transfers in the period between transporting of primary molded work molded by an upsetter and arrival thereof at a forging press main unit, so as to reduce the transport and carrying in time for primary molded work to the forging press main unit. [Solution] This forging press device is provided with: an upsetter (20), which is provided with a plurality of primary forming stages; a forging press main body (10), which is adjacent to the upsetter (20) and carries out secondary forming of primary molded work (W1); and a work transfer and carry-in device that grasps and transfers the work (W1) and carries the work into the forging press main unit (10). The work transfer and carry-in device is constituted of a high-speed articulated robot (60) that is provided with an arm (62) (chuck (64)) for grasping the work (W1) and can rotate around a vertical axis (L1). The number of work transfers from the upsetter (20) to the forging press main unit (10) is reduced, the speed of a valve forging line increased, and production efficiency increased.
