Abstract:
This forklift is provided with: an armrest that is provided to the driver seat of a vehicle and moves between a non-driving position and a driving position by means of a movable mechanism; a steering member that outputs an operation signal in response to a steering operation; a turning device that changes the turning angle of the turning wheels of the vehicle; a control unit that changes the turning angle in response to the operation signal; and an armrest detecting unit that detects whether the armrest is at the non-driving position or at the driving position, wherein when the armrest detecting unit detects that the armrest is at the non-driving position, the control unit controls the turning device or the steering member so that the turning device does not change the turning angle even when the steering member is operated.
