Abstract:
A forward osmosis treatment method comprising a forward osmosis step for bringing a feed solution into contact via a semipermeable membrane with a draw solution having a higher osmotic pressure than the feed solution, thereby moving water included in the feed solution into the draw solution. In the forward osmosis step, the pressure of the feed solution is higher than the pressure of the draw solution, the semipermeable membrane is a hollow fiber membrane, the draw solution is supplied to the inside of the hollow fiber membrane, and the feed solution is supplied to the outside of the hollow fiber membrane.
