Abstract:
[Problem] To easily provide a foundation pile that can easily be given excellent resistance to settling and extraction by usage of general purpose tools or the like after being driven. [Solution] The foundation pile, which comprises a pipe-shaped pile body (20) having a front end (23) on which a tapered portion (30) is disposed, has a front end side member (60) and rear end side member (40) which are disposed on both sides of the front end (23) in the front-rear direction with a gap therebetween in the front-rear direction. The walls (25, 35) defining the tapered portion (30) and the pile body (40) in the front-rear direction are provided with means for simple deformation (Ts, Ys1, Ys2, Ys3) such that when compression occurs in the front-rear direction and the abovementioned gap becomes smaller, the walls (25) in the front-rear direction protrude outwards or deform in a projecting manner while being divided in the circumferential direction of the foundation pile. The front end member (60) and the rear end member (40) are coupled by a screw structure by which the gap in the front-rear direction can be made smaller by way of screw-tightening with a tool inserted from an opening on the rear end side in the pile body (20). After driving, resistance to settling and the like is improved by deformation by way of tightening the screw.
