Abstract:
Provided is a framework member capable of absorbing a sufficient amount of impact. The framework member is a member which extends in the front-rear direction of a vehicle at the front part of the vehicle. Deformation inducing sections which induce deformation by a load applied from the front of the vehicle are formed at multiple portions of the framework member along the front-rear direction of the vehicle. The deformation inducing sections are formed alternately on the outer side and inner side of the framework member along the front-rear direction of the vehicle, and the distances between the deformation inducing members increase toward the rear of the vehicle.
