Abstract:
The present application relates to a frequency band search method. The method comprises: during a cell selection process, determining a plurality of candidate frequency bands to be searched, wherein each candidate frequency band comprises a plurality of frequency points, and the frequency points correspond to different cells; and sequentially performing a frequency band search on the plurality of candidate frequency bands according to a frequency band search sequence, which is determined on the basis of bandwidth values, until a target frequency band is found, wherein the target frequency band comprises frequency points corresponding to cells which allow a terminal to access. By using the present method, the communication quality of a terminal can be improved.
