Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention is a frequency selective coupling-based LTCC wide stop band filtering balun. The filtering balun comprises a medium and a first resonator, second resonator, first feeding line, second feeding line, third feeding line, and metal ground that are disposed at an inner part of the medium; the two resonators are one-half wavelength resonators distributed on different layers, and each layer is connected by means of metal through holes; the first feeding line is fed with a specific region of the first resonator in a coupled manner to suppress a second harmonic, and the second and third feeding lines are separately fed with a specific region of the second resonator in a coupled manner to suppress a third harmonic, thereby achieving the filtering performance of a wide stop band; and the second feeding line and the third feeding line are placed symmetrically about the center of the second resonator to achieve an equal-amplitude inverted balun output characteristic. The frequency selective coupling-based LTCC wide stop band filtering balun of the present invention may suppress the second and third harmonics, and the used LTCC multilayer circuit process reduces the size of a filter.
