Abstract:
A fuel cell module (1) comprises: a cell stack (CS) in which a plurality of fuel cells (C) are stacked that each output electrical energy through an electrochemical reaction between a fuel gas and an oxidant gas; and a stack temperature regulator (23) through which the oxidant gas flows prior to being supplied to the cell stack. The fuel cell module further comprises a warm-up burner (65) that generates a combustion gas for warming up the cell stack. The warm-up burner is disposed outside of a accommodation space (BS) in which the cell stack is accommodated. The stack temperature regulator is disposed opposing the cell stack at a prescribed interval so as to be able to exchange heat with the cell stack. The stack temperature regulator is provided adjacent to a combustion gas flow channel (67) through which combustion gas generated by the warm-up burner flows, whereby heat exchange is made possible between the oxidant gas flowing through the stack temperature regulator and the combustion gas generated by the warm-up burner.
