Abstract:
A fuel cell stack (10) includes cell units (A1) stacked on one another and each including a membrane electrode assembly (30) and two separators (40, 41) defining gas passages on both sides of the membrane electrode assembly (30), a cooling fluid passage (S1) for flowing a cooling fluid provided between the separators (40, 41) of each adjacent two of the cell units (A1), and a displacement absorber (B1-B5) provided in the cooling fluid passage (S1). The displacement absorber (B1-B5) includes elastic protrusions (50) provided in an array and configured to elastically absorb a displacement of the cell units (A1) in a stack direction, and flow-spread preventing protrusions (55, 55A, 55B) provided in an array and configured to prevent the cooling fluid from flowing out of an active area (a).
