Title:
FUEL INJECTION CONTROLLER OF ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2015/186762
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
When an engine (1) operates in a high-rotation, high-load range and control is executed to achieve a rich in-cylinder air-fuel ratio by increasing the amount of fuel and discontinuing O2 feedback for the amount of fuel injection, an increase correction coefficient (K) for the increase in the amount of fuel is gradually reduced to 1.0 and a stoichiometric amount of fuel injection is maintained when the vehicle is determined to have reached a fully-open traveling state. A stoichiometric holding period (Tst) is thereby reached in which the air-fuel ratio of the engine (1) is kept nearly stoichiometric, and O2 feedback is executed in parallel. Overheating of the engine (1) is prevented by limiting the leaning of the air-fuel ratio during the stoichiometric holding period (Tst), and the purifying function of a ternary catalyst (18) is increased by the leaning at this time.
