Abstract:
A fuel injection valve for a diesel engine capable of raising injection pressure without the dimensional change of a nozzle currently used, thereby being high in combustion efficiency. For attaining the purpose, the body of a fuel injection nozzle (2) is divide into an upper and lower halves, in which the upper half body (3) is provided with an oil feeding hole (7) with a proper wall thickness between it and the sliding part (6) of a needle valve, the upper part of the lower half (4) is provided with a recess (8) as an oil reservoir communicating with said oil feeding hole (7), and either the upper part of the upper body (3) or the lower part of the nozzle proper (1) in contact with the upper body is provided with an annular groove (10) so that the oil feeding hole (9) on the side of the nozzle proper may communicate with said oil feeding hole (7) of the lower body.
