A full-closed rotating electrical machine comprises: a stator (4); a rotor (6) inserted into the stator (4) and rotatably supported therein; and a housing (2) comprising two cylindrical members (first cylindrical member (21), second cylindrical member (22)) for storing the stator (4) and the rotor (6) therein by bringing the two cylindrical members (first cylindrical member (21), second cylindrical member (22)) into contact with each other concentrically with the rotary shaft of the rotor (6) and fastening the two members. Annular gaps to be filled with a seal member (9) are formed at the portion where the two cylindrical members (first cylindrical member (21), second cylindrical member (22)) are brought into contact with each other. The annular gaps are located at radially both sides of an annular contact region (Rb) where the two cylindrical members (first cylindrical member (21), second cylindrical member (22)) are kept in contact with each other. The annular gaps are respectively continued to the annular contact region (Rb) while being opened on the inner peripheral surface (2i) side or the outer peripheral surface (2x) side.
