Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a functional wallpaper that has multiple functions such as moisture permeability (hygroscopic properties/moisture releasing properties) and ventilation ability (air permeability), that has high durability and high strength, that has a low in-water ductility, that is unlikely to undergo aesthetic deterioration, and that has excellent workability. [Solution] An impregnation layer 15 impregnated with an aqueous coating material is provided to one surface of a sheet base material 10. The sheet base material 10 is a nonwoven fabric containing 5-40 wt% of polyester fibers and 60-95 wt% of pulp. The weight of the aqueous coating material with which the impregnation layer 15 is impregnated is 20-150 g/m2 when dried.
