Abstract:
Provided are a game control device, game control method, game control program, recording medium, and game system configured so that the user can feel the benefit of having associates more clearly. The game control device acquires various information from a storage device that stores user information for a first user, user information for a second user associated with the first user, and game character information for a game character, and executes a competition between the first user and the game character on the basis of the user information for the first user, the user information for the second user, and the game character information. When the result of said competition does not meet a prescribed standard, the progression of the game by the first user is stopped. When a prescribed game condition is met, the progression of the game by the first user that had been stopped can be resumed.
