Abstract:
Whether or not there is a false act of a game machine during power cutoff, i.e., when power is not supplied to the game machine is monitored to improve the security. A game machine with which a player can play a predetermined game comprises a door open/closure detection sensor (60) for detecting an abnormal state including a false act on the body of the game machine when the game machine is not supplied with power from outside, a control section (54) which operates in a sleep mode in which the power consumption is saved while any signal from the door open/closure detection sensor (60) is not received and operates in an active mode in which the power consumption is more than that in the sleep mode when a signal for detecting an abnormal state to store abnormal information detected by the door open/closure detection sensor (60) in a memory (58), and a backup power supply (55) for supplying power needed to operate the control section (54) at least in the sleep mode.
