Abstract:
Provided is a gaming machine with which a game in which a prize is selectively given to a player can be continued by maintaining a feeling of anticipation in the game. This game machine comprises: a display that displays a video reel having multiple symbols including prescribed symbols and multiple cells, each of which is assigned a prize; and a controller that runs a base game in which a bet is required and the multiple symbols are rearranged after scrolling of the video reel, displays prize details of cells whose prize details are not displayed when the prescribed symbols are rearranged in the base game, selects one cell from the multiple cells by lottery when the prize details of all of the multiple cells have been displayed, and transitions from the base game to a bonus game that is more advantageous than the base game when the prize details assigned to said one cell indicate a transition to the bonus came.
