Abstract:
This gas analyzing method includes an acquisition step, a selection step, an extraction step, and an analysis step. In the acquisition step, a signal output from a sensor exposed to a sample gas under conditions in which molecules are more readily adsorbed onto the sensor than in a first period or a third period is acquired in a second period of a measuring period in which the sensor is exposed to the sample gas (step S2). In the selection step, the second period and the third period are each divided into two or more segments (step S3), and some of the divided segments are selected as extraction segments (step S4). In the extraction step, a feature quantity of the signal in the extraction segments is extracted (step S5). In the analysis step, analysis of molecules contained in a sample gas is performed on the basis only of the feature quantity extracted in the extraction steps, among feature quantities of the signal in the measuring period, and an analysis result is output (step S6).
